Abstract

Rural entrepreneurship refers to the practice of starting and operating businesses in rural areas. Rural entrepreneurship plays a vital role in the development and revitalization of rural economies by generating employment, promoting innovation, and contributing to the overall socio-economic progress of rural areas. Rural entrepreneurship encompasses a wide range of business activities, including agriculture, agribusiness, rural tourism, handicrafts, cottage industries, rural services, and social enterprises. It involves a diverse range of entrepreneurs, including farmers, artisans, rural women, youth, and marginalized groups, who bring their skills, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit to build enterprises that cater to the needs of rural communities. rural entrepreneurship holds immense potential for creating inclusive and sustainable rural development. By leveraging local resources, knowledge, and creativity, rural entrepreneurs can contribute to the economic growth, social well-being, and environmental sustainability of rural areas. Tribal families are engaged mostly in agriculture and wage activities, which have been their primary source of livelihood. Livestock has been one of the economically productive assets for the tribal. Health negligence and lack of required minimum health awareness in tribal families. There is a persisting gap in required skill, knowledge and capacity amongst tribals in comparison to other social groups Tribal literacy per cent age is also low.
