The research study on impact of training programme on knowledge of farm facilitator Bhoochetana Programme conducted in Hyderabad Karnataka region. The ‘Experimental research design as well as ‘Ex-post-facto’ research designs were used in the present study to know the impact of knowledge gained by the farm facilitators due to participation in the training programme under Bhoochetana Programme. Three districts were purposively selected based on researcher convenience, two talukas were selected from each district, Intern 10 farm facilitators were selected purposively from each taluk. Thus the total sample size constitutes 60. It was revealed that more than half (53.33 %) of the farm facilitators belonged to low knowledge category before undergoing training followed by medium (38.33 %) and high (25.00 %) categories. But after undergoing training it is interesting to note that, 53.33 per cent of them belonged to medium knowledge category followed by high (30.00 %) and low (16.67 %). The thirty-three per cent of the respondents gained knowledge about use of Rhizobium as seed treatment in pulse crops, 30.00 per cent of farm facilitators gained knowledge about use of Eudrillus eugina species of earthworm for vermicompost production and chemical seed treatment to prevent soil borne diseases (28.33 %), APMC is a source of market information (25.00%) and PURPOSE of using Trichoderma to control the soil born fungal diseases (25.00%). Wilcoxon signed rank test also showed significant difference in knowledge level of farm facilitators before and after training.
